Oskars; Concert Recordings

The winners for the 6th Annual Oskar Awards have been announced. Congratulations to all this years winners, which is most all of us, and to Sand on his Lifetime Achievement Award. There are also 4 new members of the Hall Of Fame.

Speaking of Sand, it's his birthday. Stop by his Facebook or MySpace pages to wish him a happy 28th birthday!

Live recordings of Raine Maida at Cowboy's Ranch in London, ON; Matthew Good at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia, PA, and IOTA Club and Cafe in Arlington, VA are now available on the tracker. Matthew Good's concerts were recorded in 24bit/96kHz resolution, and are very large in file size. If there is demand for the shows in a 16bit/44.1kHz resolution, please make a post in the respective threads so we can generate those files.

Update from Duncan; Jared Paul

I had an opportunity to talk to Duncan before and after Raine's concert in Toronto Monday night. Duncan said OLP had about 7 songs finished, and had spent the whole weekend working together in Toronto. They are awaiting Raine to complete the lyrics to the songs. Duncan stated that everyone was legitimately excited about the work they had been doing. Raine will be producing and engineering the album, with the rest of the band co-producing. Duncan said he "hopes" to be able to deliver a finished album to Sony by the end of July. Remember the word hope!

Jared Paul will be joining Raine for the remainder of his tour and will resume his current schedule at the conclusion of the tour.
