Toronto based singer/songwriter teamed up with guitarist Mike Turner in 2003 to record a 4 song demo. 3 of the 4 songs were originally released on fansite emtee.org that year, receiving praise from Turner loyalists, and OLP fans alike. The demo also featured additional keys and guitar from former OLP member Jamie Edwards. McGroarty and Turner did not work well together in the studio and their partnership never manifested past the demos. McGroarty went on to perform solo shows in Toronto clubs in 2004, before returning to writing, and eventually formed the group Tiger Bomb, which received some pop success on Canadian radio.
